Junk journal

Third fairy journal made

Here’s the third fairy journal I’ve made.

So loving the beautiful images.

As usual there are lots of pockets, tags, tuck spots, and journal cards.

And book pages interspersed with coffee-dyed papers and colouring book pages.

My second fairy journal

After having so much fun creating my first fairy journal, I bought some more fairy books from an op-shop so I could create more.

I love the beautiful images. I used them to create the pages and to embellish them.

I love using not just the images but the words in the journal too.

I backed some of the images onto scrapbook paper and made journaling cards and tags.

I had so much creating different shaped tuck spots and also used scrapbook paper as journaling cards.

Junk journal

My first fairy journal

Here’s the first fairy journal I’ve made and I had a lot of fun creating this, especially the cover.

I’m trying to get more into layering so I did a bit of a collage on the front and included some lace, a button, and a charm.

I used pages and images from a fairy book and love how it turned out. I went for a blue theme with the embellishments and journaling papers.

I created a tuck spot with lace on the inside of the cover.

I created lots of tuck spots using images from the book and did some more experimenting with embellishing the pages.

I included some of the mason jar printables because they have fairies on them and even say, ‘Fairies.’

I’m also trying to get into using more vellum because I love how you can see through it.

Here I used some vellum with butterflies to create this tuck spot with a mason jar journaling card.

Here I created some pockets, one is a page pocket and the other is created with some blue paper that I collaged on with an image from the book and some ribbon.

I added some paper for journaling and I also made some tags using images from the book that I stuck on scrapbook paper. I love how these tags turned out.

Here I used some of my pre-made embelishments with a pocket for a tag and a tuck spot behind it.

I love the layering effect here and included two of these with various fabrics and laces from my stash.

Here I included an enveloped that I pre-embellished. It has a tag inside it and behind it I created a tuck spot for another tag.

Then for this page I added some ribbon along the edge of a page that flips out and a flower and a button. It’s so simple but it’s one of my favourite pages.

I really love this journal. It’s one of my favourites I’ve made so far.

Let me know what you think. Do you have a favourite page?
