Junk journal

Butterfly Journal

I finally got round to making this butterfly journal that I’ve had in the back of my mind for a long time.

I had so much fun creating it.

I used the lovely napkin from Cathy to decorate a coaster and put that on the cover:

Then I filled the journal with everything butterfly and tried a few new things too.

The trims on the edges of the pages represent soft and delicate, colourful butterfly wings.

Love how it turned out.

The lovely Toni bough this one to go along with her ‘twin,’ the matching peacock journal I made.

So glad it went to her. Now I’ll have to make a dragonfly one.

Here’s a flip through:

    1. I got into it through junk journaling. I joined a junk journal group on Facebook and the ladies send each other happy mail. I’m not sure if there are other happy mail groups, but there might be some for crafters or stationery lovers on facebook if you’re not into junk journaling.

        1. Oh yay, so glad you’re delving into the junk journal world. That’s so exciting. I don’t know anyone who knows about them except from the Facebook group. I’d definitely recommend it.
